Every day SEQ gains momentum with new organisations, businesses and individuals supporting Social Enterprise Qualification.

There are already hundreds of learners signed up to complete SEQ this year; researching, practicing and gaining accreditation in Social Enterprise.

By supporting SEQ your details will appear on the SEQ website and we will signpost these learners, along with their mentors, to your website; driving traffic, creating interest in your business and linking you to a new generation of social entrepreneurs.

Sound good? So what's the benefit of SEQ...

For Learners

We know that many entrepreneurs are doers who don’t necessarily need qualifications to achieve social change or economic success.

However, we also know that in order to make social enterprise learning mainstream, it needs to be in the form of a qualification. SEQ is now an accredited and recognised Qualification on the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF).  By delivering SEQ, schools and youth groups can enable a generation of young social entrepreneurs to realise their ideas for a better future - economically, socially and environmentally.

For the Industry

SEQ is all about learning through doing; performing against “assessment criteria” which demonstrate a learner's understanding of the practicalities involved in social enterprise, innovation and creativity, the communication skills needed, and an informed view of risk.

SEQ offers a recognisable, accredited benchmark, showing you, as an employer, whether learners have developed the aforementioned knowledge and skills.

  • There could not be a better time to encourage young people to explore their entrepreneurial skills. Along with the fact that they are concerned about social issues that affect them and society, it's an ideal way for them to combine the two together. With so much natural business talent within our youth, a Social Enterprise Qualification could really be the start of a major entrepreneur revolution!
