Black Youth Achievements is a social enterprise which recognises and rewards the talents, positive actions and personal accomplishments of young people between the ages of 8 - 25 in the UK, who are of African /Caribbean/Mixed Heritage.

They do this through their annual awards ceremony held in November.

They also focus on the development of young people's careers and business ideas, mentoring and the 'Youth in Excellence' programme which has been created to provide wider opportunities for those who are currently classified as NEET.

  • "There could not be a better time to encourage young people to explore their entrepreneurial skills. Along with the fact that they are concerned about social issues that affect them and society, it's an ideal way for them to combine the two together. With so much natural business talent within our youth, a Social Enterprise Qualification could really be the start of a major entrepreneur revolution!" Kay Oldroyd, Director / Founder
