Around the world, people are engaging with SEQ and discovering the benefits of the Qualification.
It is RIO’s intention to be able to offer Social Enterprise Qualification wherever it can help to create positive social change, education and employment opportunities for learners. It is also our intention to connect people taking part in SEQ globally.
So far SEQ has been piloted in England, China and Uganda. All pilots were very successful and will lead into solid delivery and business models to make SEQ a sustainable part of that country’s learning offer. We are currently working with PEDN in Uganda and Jiaxing Education Bureau in China to make this happen.
This is a staggered process with SEQ being available in the first instance in England. We are delighted to announce that SEQ is now on sale in England and anywhere internationally that accepts a UK qualification, can use English learning materials and can work online (e.g. international schools).
In countries where a UK qualification is not of value to learners, but the experience of developing a social enterprise is of value, the SEQ materials can be used to run a learning programme certificated by RIO rather than an accredited UK qualification.
